Emily is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, but is proud to call Dallas home. She brings her expertise as a Full-Time MBA candidate from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, where she is concentrating in Strategy and Entrepreneurship with a Management minor.

As Black Book Agency’s Development Associate Intern, Emily works closely with our Venture Strategy and Investor Relations division. She assists in the daily operations of venture strategy and investor relations engagement projects, the creation and delivery of presentations and detailed reports for clientele, and targeted research and analysis to bolster our consulting efforts. Emily also participates in BBA’s strategic event design and social media management for ventures seeking strategic impact.

Emily graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism and a minor in African/African American Studies. Prior to pursuing her MBA, she worked in a variety of industries in roles that encompassed human resources, recruiting, marketing, event planning, and operations management. Outside of school and work, you can find Emily spending time with her family on the lake or in the hunting woods.
